It's Spring Cleansing season
. . .
Helen Luczak
is in full swing having presented
several spring
cleansing workshops in April and the demand continues into May.
Our warm inviting weather must be making people think about how
they would welcome feeling more energized and ready to enjoy a
fabulous summer.
Spring Cleansing
Part 2
will be held on
Mon. May 9th,
7-9:30 p.m. at the same location of A-812 1/2 Lorne Ave in Old
East London. A special price will be offered to participants who
complete Part 1. The fee is $15+GST.
The regular fee is $20+GST.
Anyone may complete the Candida Quiz
(top right hand column) in order to
determine if there might be a mild, moderate or severe challenge
with Candida. Since this is such an
important cleanse for improving so many conditions,
you will find the questionnaire to be very educational as well as
serving the purpose of providing some insights.
**NEW SPRING CLEANSING CD".
A CD with numerous cleanses and awesome handouts on spring
cleansing subjects in included in the price of the Spring
Cleansing workshops; HOWEVER, you can
purchase the CD for $10
regardless. Please call 519-680-2884
or email luczak@rogers.com.
If
an
out-of-towner, you may also get some
help with spring cleansing by sending back the questionnaire and
having a preliminary 30-minute telephone consultation to ensure we
are on the same page. As a follow up, you will receive written
recommendations and the handouts concerning the cleanses that are
matched to you on a CD. As to investing in the products required for
cleansing, some of the products can be purchased from the
Centre for Healthy Living
and others can be obtained through your
local health food store. Likewise, we will advise concerning
referrals for other services
such as colonics, ear candling, ionic foot bath, or lymphatic
drainage.
When people have a
lot of
digestive system weaknesses, they often
experience gas, bloating, constipation or irritable bowel syndrome
(IBS) or just general abdominal pain or discomforts. Often it's not
clear what is going on or exactly which organs are involved;
however, taking the time to do the cleansing twice a year (spring
and fall) will generate great rewards. With women's health issues
during perimenopause and menopause,
liver detoxification
is always recommend as part of the program to ease uncomfortable hot
flashes or PMS symptoms.
From a holistic
nutrition perspective, improvements gained through detoxification
and cleansing protocols are all fine and good; however, the root
cause of a lot of toxicity has very much to do with our choice of
diet. When the foods we eat are not digested, they feed critters in
the body and get stored as fat.
Dr. Peter D'Adamo's
blood type diet
has helped many people to strengthen their immunity by eating
beneficial foods and reducing toxic loads by steering away from
avoid foods, particularly the
red flag avoids. We highly
recommend participating in the
Eat Right 4 Your Type Series. For
more information about upcoming classes, please click here.
Since the
spring season brings with it lots of sunshine, it's the perfect time
for enjoying luscious scrumptious
green
smoothies.
If interested in learning more about these amazing drinks which are
made with a very powerful commercial blender using 40% dark leafy
green veggies and an assortment of fruit and super foods, please
click here or send an email to
luczak@rogers.com asking to
be advised of upcoming classes. During the months of May to
September, an average of two classes per month are held in London.
If interested in hosting a class in your city, please give us a call
at
519-680-2884.

One way of determining which parasite elimination program
to embark upon is having a
WISE Analysis. The first step is completing the
WISE Questionnaire
using a scale of 0-5 to rate various symptoms. Once completed, the
answers will be put into a data base to produce a summary report
with graphs and charts. The information gleaned will
identify nutritional deficiencies
and
health symptoms linked to specific diseases
or conditions, eg. heavy metals or auto-immune conditions, etc.
Whether certain
vitamins and minerals are being sufficiently provided in the diet is
of paramount importance. Information
on what could have led to a deficiency plus solutions in terms of
what to do about it will all be detailed in the
comprehensive report that WISE can generate. For instance, let's say
hypoglycemia was highlighted. Our reference library offers this
explanation for the
onset of hypoglycemia: "the cause could
be
parasite or candida-related;
there's likely
too little protein
in the diet; and probably an
adrenal/thyroid connection."
