Type Diet (BTD) program and chances are

Dr.
Peter D'Adamo talks about
Blood Type O & A
as statistically having more thyroid problems. With Type O, it's
both hyper and hypo-active thyroid and for Type A, it's mainly
underactive thyroid. There is a link with the
food
lectins that damage the colon as one biochemical factor.
Undigested food lectins (a protein found in every food which can
alter blood chemistry in a negative fashion) is typically found in
grains, beans, legumes and dairy products. There are about seven
Red Flag Avoid Foods
that are especially problematic.

How to Approach Healthy Eating the Right
Way
. . .
Helen Luczak
recently spoke about a timely hot topic
having to do with striking a balance when looking for ways to
reduce our food costs.
In our zeal to save money on food in the
short-term, are we sacrificing our health in the long term?
By gaining an understanding of the basic principles of holistic
nutrition and applying them in the context of what you are wanting
and willing to create, one can easily achieve feeling better on a
healthier diet without breaking the bank.
Diet, Lifestyle and Nutrition for Optimal
Health.
When people have a lot of digestive system weaknesses, often there
is an imbalance of parasites or opportunistic candida and viruses
which are the culprit.
Helen Luczak will be speaking on
the topic:
"Alone at Last: Say Good-bye to Candida, Parasites & Viruses"
at the
Women's Health & Wellness Series. You
can attend any of the classes separately on Thursdays or purchase a
pass with admission to any of 8 classes including select webinars.
The Candida topic is on Thurs. Feb. 14th at 7:30 p.m. To view the
calendar, please

One way of
determining which parasite pr candida elimination program to embark
upon is having a
WISE Analysis. The first step is
completing the
WISE email questionnaire that we can
send you. It takes 20 minutes to answer a variety of questions
requiring that you rate your symptoms on a scale of 0-5. Once completed, the
answers will be put into a data base to produce a summary report
with graphs and charts. The information gleaned will
identify nutritional deficiencies
and
health symptoms linked to specific diseases
or conditions, eg. heavy metals or auto-immune conditions, etc.
Whether certain
vitamins and minerals are being sufficiently provided in the diet is
of paramount importance. Information
on what could have led to a deficiency plus solutions in terms of
what to do about it will all be detailed in the
comprehensive report that WISE can generate. For instance, let's say
hypoglycemia was highlighted. Our reference library offers this
explanation for the
onset of hypoglycemia: "the cause could
be
parasite or candida-related;
there's likely
too little protein
in the diet; and probably an
adrenal/thyroid connection."
Furthermore, it's
recommended that fried or refined foods, sugar, alcohol, caffeine
and nicotine be eliminated and that smaller meals be eaten frequently;
that protein accompanies carbs; a good stress management program be
adopted; seasonal cleanses are done; and
green drinks; glandulars; essential fatty acids; zinc; and Vitamins
B and C are all part of one's supplementation program. For more
information about herbs and supplements, please

a WISE Nutritional Consultation and
save $25 off
of a 90-minute appointment ($50 instead of $75), please

This offer is valid until November 15th, 2009.
