For example,
the black bean recipes are perfectly matched to blood type O & A; however,
in order for all blood types to enjoy this recipe, the recommended bean is
northern bean. There are helpful tips and notes with each recipe which

Dr.
Peter D'Adamo published
Eat Right 4 Your Type
in 1997 and during the
past decade, more than 10 other books have been published.
Cook Right 4 Your Type
came out in 1999; however, please be aware that the recipes in it are
not adjusted for non-secretors since the secretor sub-types were not
introduced until 2001 with the publication of
Live Right 4 Your Type.
In 2002, the Eat
Right Blood Type Encyclopedia
book was published (far left in the library photo)
and then the Library of
Diseases mini books came
out in 2004. They feature disease-fighting
Super Foods.
The food
lists in each of the main D'Adamo textbooks have been updated on the
D'Adamo website. The
Centre for Healthy Living
has food lists in
three versions which reflect the most up-to-date postings. The
13-page Food List
for each type displays all foods alphabetically in two columns comparing
secretor to non-secretor. The
6-page Food List
separates the Secretor from the Non-Secretor plus groups the food
categories by putting the beneficial fruits together, then the neutral
fruits, etc. Click on the title of the list to view a sample to compare
the lists. The third list is the
All Blood Types Food List
which is printed in the Cook Book.
To
obtain a food list,
visit the Menu Planner or
Recipe Packages section as the purchase of either of these items also
includes a food list.

left are Goat Feta-Walnut Dip; Vegetable Nut Pate; and Spinach-Basil
Pesto.
Veggie dips are not only delicious but encouraged
for all blood types so that people will make the effort to eat more
live enzyme food.
Type Os for instance do very well with more salads in the diet as do
Type As since they are mainly vegetarian. |

The The dessert shown
(on the right) is Helen's Date
Walnut Squares. The crust is
made with spelt flour, butter and sucanat (dehydrated organic sugar cane
juice). The topping is dates, whole brown grain rice krispes, walnuts and
(optional) egg. It's a huge crowd pleaser and quite simple to make.
The desserts featured
in the
Simply Delicious &
Nutritious Cook Book
as
well as the
Recipe Packages
use sucanat; maple syrup; honey; xylitol or stevia as sweeteners.
