The Centre for Healthy Living is pleased to recommend the multi-talented Carla Kelly who offers a variety of services in the healing arts, most notably sonic healing working with various practitioners and yoga instructors and the like. She recently taught Tune Up Your Chakras (with a repeat class coming up soon) to help keep people's energy systems balanced and at the same time promoting healing on physical, spiritual and emotional planes. Carla has an awesome collection of Tibetan bowls which she uses in her practice, at healing sessions and most of these treasures are also available to be purchased.

A group of about a dozen participants came together in September for a Sonic Healing session in which Carla (right) provided the magical sounds of at least eight instruments including some of her prized Tibetan bowls.

Potlucks with an array of healthy foods are also an important hallmark at 58 Hog Back Close, located in a beautiful natural setting in Delaware near Longwoods Road. Every effort is made to bring people together to enjoy the very best in food, atmosphere, and learning.

More and more people are beginning to discover the joy of healing with percussion sounds. Sessions can be conducted where people are laying down on mats with their eyes closed for up to an hour hearing various instruments played above, beside and around them. I had the pleasure of participating in this type of session at Carla's Ancient Healing Techniques.
